Aliki Kourkouta is an Architect and Architectural Historian specialising in the biodeterioration of historic architectural materials caused by higher plants. Through RAMO Ricerca, she brings together architectural conservation and botany to assess and manage vegetation affecting historic buildings and monuments.
She holds a degree in Architecture from the “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti–Pescara, a Level II Master’s in Biology for the Conservation and Enhancement of Cultural Heritage from Roma Tre University, and a PhD in Earth and Built Environment Systems - Architectur.
She also holds certification for the purchase and use of plant protection products (S.I.A.N., Lic. No. 3319), supporting RAMO Ricerca’s interdisciplinary approach to vegetation management and architectural conservation.
